These inherent characteristics includes the barrel ageing in Zemplen-oak, the minerality on the nose, the full body, and crisp backbone. In particular, the barrel ageing in Zemplen oak softens the edges of the wine. It lends a silkier, smoother, lighter character to the wine.Yet, the full-flavoured body, and fresh acidity makes this wine to stand out. The careful wine making process and the unmistakable aromas of Tokaji Furmint creates perfect harmony of the taste and aromas.

Under ideal growing conditions, this wine benefits from the minerality and zeolite content of the terroir. Also, thanks to the right angle of the sunshine to the vineyard, it results in optimal sugar content of the grapes. Babits Winery makes this wine  using only healthy grapes. Apple, minerals, and notes of apricots on the palate. It has a a medium to long finish. Highly characteristic Furmint with a crisp backbone, full body and great harmony of tastes and fragrances. Optimal balance of minerality and fruitiness for a Furmint. This wine, can benefit from further bottle ageing,  so it can be kept for  2-3 years.
