Tokaji Late Harvest – Hanna Cuvée 2021

Description

Pannon Tokaj Hannah Cuvée is a beautiful late harvest dessert wine, made of 70% Hárslevelű (Linden Leaf), 20% Muscat Lunel, 10% Furmint. Dominium range has been treated with advantaged care at Pannon Tokaj, it is the winery’s premium range.

The best characters of 3 typical Tokaji grape varieties are reserved in this wine. Elegant floral on the nose, long fruity taste of apricot, flower-honey on the palate.

The harvest took place in December and it was later fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged in Hungarian oak wood barrels in the winery’s 600 years old wine cellar for more than 8 months. After several filtration procedures the bottling took place middle of September.

Pannon Tokaj Hannah Cuvée is light golden colour, with intensive aromas of apricot, honey and tropical fruits on the nose. On the palate is elegant botrytis and acids that are noticeable. Thanks to the oak-wood barrel ageing a characteristic oak with some almond and nut is also present. Well balanced acid-sugar components, with very long after taste. A very fine and additional value from botrytised Aszúberries in the wine.

Pannon Tokaj Hannah Cuvée Late Harvest Dessert Wine goes well with blue cheese, spicy dishes or not too sweet desserts, or just enjoy on its own.
