Description
Tokaji Szamorodni is one of the best sellers amongst Hungarians in the Tokaj wine region.
The word Szamorodni is originated from Poland, and it means “As it has grown”. It contains 50 % of botrytised aszúberries and 50 % of green berries, that creates a special character of the wine.
This is the first vintage of Szamorodni made by Erika Rácz, founder and winemaker at the artisan winery Sanzon Tokaj.
A fully organic, bortrytised wine with layers of sultana, honeyed peach and baked apple on the nose and the palate too.
Szamorodni is very popular amongst Hungarians because it is not as sweet as a Tokaji Aszú, but it is sweeter than a Late Harvest wine.
Enjoy as an aperitif, or as an appetizer with goose liver, or consume on it’s own as a dessert.
Delicious to consume besides dishes such as Dolcette creamy blue cheese, duck liver pate, or a fruity dessert such as poached pears.
Alc.: 12.5%
