Muscat Ottonel is a highly aromatic and traditional variety in the Matra wine district. In fact Matra wine region is home to the most widely planted muscat varieties out of all the other wine regions in Hungary. Moreover, muscat varieties grown in the Matra wine region produce wines with the most intensely muscaty characteristics, compared to other muscat wines produced elsewhere in the country.

Ludanyi Andras Muscat Ottonel is made from grapes grown on the most picturesque and well protected slopes of the Matra mountains of Hungary. When working with Muscat Ottonel, the main aim of Andras is to preserve those typical yellow fruity Muscat-like aromas and scents of this grape variety. Memories of juicy and waxy and velvety grape berries will instantly flash in front of our eyes when tasting this wine.

Muscat Ottonel from Ludanyi Andras is highly recommended for those who enjoy their highly aromatic, dry whites. Best consumed at 11-13 °C. Enjoy as an aperitif, or besides vegetarian salads, grilled vegetables, or grilled chicken.
