100% Furmint, soft & bold from Tállya village with fresh citrus, peach and almond notes. TR Muvek Furmint is a dry white wine from the Tokaj wine region.

TR stands for Tállya Radicals, a group of young wine enthusiasts, eager to revitalise the village of Tállya in Tokaj. They stand for organic approach in wine making, and in doing so, they make excellent wines. They work with 15-40 year-old vines at 3.5 hectare Palota vineyard, on a volcanic terrain. The soil and conditions are especially ideal for Furmint, as it allows the grape to slow-ripen and develop the ideal balance between sugars and acidity.

TR winery follow a philosophy of low intervention at the winery. They aim for the final product to showcases the terroir, vintage and unique character of the Palota vines.

70% of the wine is matured on its lees with 30% maturing Hungarian oak barrels, that contributes with softness to the texture and finish.

Their flagship Furmint showcases citrus, blossom and quince on the nose, with peach, green apple, juicy pear and notes of almonds on the palate.

Recommended to consume beside grilled white fish, for example trout with almonds, white meat (especially pork), fresh salad with herbs or grilled vegetables, goat cheese pies, or try with beetroot curry.
