100% Kékfrankos, a classic, traditional local variety from Sióagárd–Leányvár hillside of Duzsi Tamas Winery.
Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) is a classic Hungarian variety. This wine is from a vineyard which has particularly rich, nutritious soil. Besides, it is a very well looked after terroir in the Szekszard region.
This wine is from an early harvest, that took place beginning of October. The winemaker has tried to preserve the fruity character of the wine. Hence, they only matured the wine in an oak barrel (not barrique) for a few months.
Quite fruit driven, with raspberry in its colour, red fruits, plum, rich blackberry and black cherry in its bouquet. A lovely medium bodied red wine to represent a classic Kékfrankos (Blaufrankische) taste from Szekszard.
