Description
Görögszó is the most prestigious, flagship dry red cuvée wine from the award winning Dúzsi winery.
Dúzsi Tamás Görögszó is 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon blend, from the prestigious Görögszó vineyard of Szekszard.
A worthy follow-up of the “world hit” 2011 vintage Görögszó, that won one of the world’s most recognised wine contest the Vinalies Internationales in 2015. Simply qualified as the best wine from 3575 wines, from 40 countries. No Hungarian Wine has ever won this prize before.
The 2009 vintage was also awarded Gold medal on the same contest.
The Görögszó vineyard plays a very important role in the Dúzsi’s lives: this special Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc blend is only made in exceptional vintages after the meticulous selection of clusters and barrels. This vintage was such a year when a rich, dense, concentrated wine with sour cherry, capsicum and paprika spice notes was born.
