Description
Balla Geza Clarus Sparkling Brut is made of Mustoasă de Măderat. It means Maderat Wine, or in Hungarian: Magyarádi Fehér. This variety was one of the few that remained alive after the Phylloxera attack between 1970s – 1990s.
It is s very rare variety, grown only in Miniș, western side of Transylvania. Wine produced from this grape variety is the most popular dry white wine in the region. When they use Mustoasă de Măderat for traditional method sparkling wine, it becomes even more rare and special. It makes bright and cheerful wine, with fresh acids and fruity aromas. Hence this variety is perfectly suitable to make excellent sparkling wines. Balla Geza Clarus Sparkling Brut has medium body & a chilly, fruity finish.
Lovely effervescent wine, with flamboyant citrus, juicy apples.
It is perfect as an aperitif, with light starters, or enjoy on its own to mark a special occasion, or pop for a glass of bubbly on New Years Eve !
