Description

An elegant, dry, apple-forward 100% Furmint from a single vineyard called Mezes-Maly in the Tokaj wine region.

Wines from the Peter winery are very telling of the terroir. The winery aims to showcase style that’s unique to the microclimate around Tarcal and Tokaj wine region. The result is a wide range of highly characterful wines.

This Furmint is a fantastic example of this particular variety with its racy acidity and mouth-watering layers of apple, honeysuckle, butter, brioche and peach. The texture however is full and waxy.

Highly recommended to consume with: Roast chicken with cherry tomatoes and rice, baked white fish with a citrus dressing, avocado on toast, green leaf salad, pizza, creamy pasta dishes.
