Estate Wine from Duzsi Tamas winemaker, is a multi awarded premium red cuvée. A privileged gem of this artisan winery.
Its predecessor was their very first wine (Kékfrankos- Merlot cuvée in 1994).
Later, its vintage 2003 won the best value for money in the Hungarian wine market on the “Master of Wine” competition.
Varietes include Kékfrankos, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, and pinot noir
Opaque ruby red in colour.
Duzsi Tamas Estate Wine boasts fruity aromas of black berries, dark chocolate and beetrooty notes, alongside some spiciness on the nose.
Dry, medium bodied wine with firm tannins & elegant acidic structure. A certain warmth deriving from the alcohol causes a long finish with ripe hints.
Best to consume with spicy meat dishes, pasta & risotto al rucola or simply pizza with fresh basil. The perfect wine for a neat italian evening.
